Chateau Tattoo is the personal studio of artist Simon Gentry.

The Chateau is, in fact, a vintage mobile home on his rural property in Salmo, British Columbia. The setting is rustic and peaceful making for a laid back vibe and relaxing tattoo experience.

Clients are seen by appointment only. Sorry, no walk-ins.

Simon began tattooing 2008, as an apprentice under Kevin Bays and David Ackerman at Rainbow Falls Tattoo in Hilo, Hawaii. When Rainbow Falls closed its doors he opened his first shop, South Seas Tattoo, in partnership with artist Kristin Lowery. Simon then moved to Moscow, Idaho in 2013 where he opened Bitterroot Tattoo which he owned and operated until 2019. From 2019-2021 he worked at Anchored Art Tattoo in Spokane, Washington.

In 2021 he relocated to the Kootenays with his wife and son. He now resides and works in beautiful Salmo, BC, where he plans to stay awhile.
